Our Pastors
Pastor Jonathan Nantais is the Senior Pastor at First Christian Church of Houston. He holds both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Divinity from Ecumenical Theological Seminary, where he also earned a certificate in Race, Racism, and Diversity. His dissertation focused on church development, reflecting his deep passion for church planting and community outreach. Pastor Jonathan is ordained with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in both Canada and the USA. He is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth and building strong, supportive communities. His leadership and commitment to service have made a significant impact on the congregation and the broader community. He often says, “You may not belong to this church, but this church belongs to you.” Pastor Jonathan would be honored to be your pastor.
Pastor Managerrie Winston is the Associate Pastor at First Christian Church of Houston. She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and is currently enrolled at Christian Theological Seminary, working towards her Master of Divinity. Pastor Managerrie is commissioned with the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in both Canada and the USA and is on the path towards ordination. At First Christian Church, she oversees youth programs, family connections, and weekly Chapel services for the preschool. She is deeply involved in her community and has overseen nonprofit work with marginalized youth in Houston through her own business. Her dedication to nurturing spiritual growth and fostering strong community ties is evident in all her work.
